Once sheared, all Swans Island wool goes to the Green Mountain Spinnery, in Vermont, where it is custom spun, and only biodegradable soaps and oils are used in the scouring and spinning processes. While most spinneries don’t always spin the same wool you give them, the dozen or so talented craftspeople at Green Mountain Spinnery guarantee that the wool we give them will be the same wool they spin for us.
