Spruce Head Hat
PATTERN BY MICHELE ROSE ORNE
Spruce Head is one of many traditional, small villages that dot the coastline of Maine. Overlooking Seal Harbor, daily life here is defined by Fishermen’s nets and lobster traps – sturdy working tools that intertwine the present with the past. The crisp latticework cable that traverses this hat is reminiscent of these simple implements of daily life along the coast.
