CARE & RETURNS

YARN RECOMMENDED CARE
We recommend hand washing your knits with a good organic soap or wool wash such as Eucalan, and laying them flat to dry.
Skein Transitions:
Because of the inherent nature of skein dying with natural dyes, garments knit from our yarns may have a slightly variegated look. That’s what we love about our yarn — the slightly uneven rhythm imparts a true handcrafted look. If you are concerned when transitioning from one skein to the next, we suggest working alternate rows from each skein for a few rows.
To Avoid Fading:
Due to the process of dying with natural dyestuffs, some shades may be less resistant to fading in light than others. For this reason, we recommend that your fine hand knits and skeins of yarn not be left for extended periods of time in direct sunlight.
Indigo Dyes:
Like a pair of new blue jeans, the colors that use 100% natural indigo in their recipes may have a slight tendency to get onto your hands when working with them. This pigment transfer is inherent to working with natural indigo dyes and is not harmful. To avoid staining of your needles, we recommend using metal needles instead of bamboo, when working with this yarn.
