New Woven Products
For years customers have asked us whether we could produce other wool products from our hand dyed and hand woven fabric. We have done many custom products and had dreamed about finding the time and energy to create new lines. Well we have taken the plunge and the results have surpassed expectations. In our new stores and gradually on line you will find:
- A new line of throw pillows that complement our broad line of throws.
- A beautiful selection of scarves and wraps woven of merino and silk.
- Hand-Woven lightweight wool coats in indigo and rare wool brown. These coats are being woven and sewn in limited numbers in Northport and we already have lists of friends who have seen them and are jostling to be first in line.
Our fantastic handbags have been a hit. We got such positive feedback at the last New York Gift Show that we have decided to produce them in limited numbers. Look for these at the beginning of August in our stores or on line.
Swans Island or Swans Island Blankets?
Many of you have known us for years as Swans Island Blankets. More than a few of you visited us off the ferry on Swans Island, charmed by John and Carolyn Grace in their home and our original studio. We are still of course Swans Island Blankets and weaving blankets of the highest quality available will continue to be our life blood. But we are shortening our name and public face to Swans Island because we are making so much more than blankets, and we don't want new customers and friends to assume that's all we do. Check above for a list of our recent additions.
